Refund Policy

1. Overview
This Refund Policy explains when and how Rest Faker issues refunds for paid subscription plans. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to this policy. All payments are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record, who also handles the mechanics of any approved refunds.
2. General Policy
All subscription fees are non-refundable except in the specific circumstances described in Section 3 below. This applies to:
- Monthly subscription charges for the Startup and Enterprise plans.
- Any partial billing periods — cancelling mid-cycle does not entitle you to a pro-rated refund for the remainder of the billing period.
- Periods during which the Service was available but unused.
When you cancel a paid subscription, your access to paid features continues until the end of the current billing period, after which your account reverts to the Free plan.
3. Eligible Refund Circumstances
We will review refund requests in the following situations:
Billing errors
If you were charged an incorrect amount, charged after cancellation, or charged twice for the same period, you are entitled to a full refund of the erroneous charge. Contact us within 14 days of the charge with details of the error.
Extended service unavailability
If Rest Faker experiences unplanned downtime exceeding 72 consecutive hours within a billing period due to issues on our end, you may request a pro-rated credit or refund for that period.
Statutory rights
Where applicable law grants you a right to a refund — including but not limited to EU and UK consumer protection regulations — we will honour that right. EU/EEA consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of purchase for digital services, provided the service has not been accessed or used. By accessing the Service after purchase, you acknowledge that the right of withdrawal is waived in accordance with applicable digital content regulations.
4. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, email us at support@restfaker.dev with the following information:
- The email address associated with your Rest Faker account.
- The date and amount of the charge.
- The reason for your refund request.
We aim to respond to all refund requests within 3 business days. If approved, the refund is processed through Paddle and typically appears on your statement within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
5. Subscription Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time by contacting support@restfaker.dev. Cancellation stops future charges but does not trigger a refund for the current billing period. Your paid access continues until the period ends.
6. Free Plan
The Free plan carries no charge and is therefore not subject to this refund policy.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of a paid plan after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
